Same Game Parlays: FAQ Guide
Same Game Parlays (SGPs) let you stack multiple picks from a single matchup into one bet. They’re flexible, powerful, and a little different from a standard parlay. If you’re wondering why certain picks don’t show up, why odds change, or what you can combine, this FAQ breaks it all down.
Important limits:
You can add up to 6 selections per event and 16 selections per parlay. Same Game Parlays are currently available on select NBA and NFL games. You can still add eligible picks from other sports or leagues to the same ticket, but doing so will convert your bet to a Standard Parlay.
Here’s everything you need to know to build your SGPs with confidence.
1. Why can’t I add this market to a Same Game Parlay?
Not all markets are eligible for SGPs.
Only selections marked with the SGP icon can be added. If you don’t see the badge, that market isn’t available for Same Game Parlays.

Right now, SGPs are offered on select NBA and NFL prematch markets, and some props or Live lines may not be included.
2. Why does my Same Game Parlay payout differ from a standard parlay?
Same Game Parlays use dynamic, correlation-based pricing.
That means the payout adjusts based on how your selections impact one another. Even if two picks have the same odds on their own, the combined payout may change once they’re added to an SGP.
Standard Parlays, by comparison, use fixed true-odds pricing.
3. Why can’t I Cash Out my Same Game Parlay?
Cash Out isn’t available for Same Game Parlays at this time.
This applies to both active SGPs and those with partially settled legs.
4. Why did my SGP turn into a standard parlay?
Same Game Parlays can only include selections from one game.
If you add a pick from another matchup, your bet slip will automatically switch to a Standard Parlay. Remove the out-of-game selection to return to the SGP format.
5. Why can’t I build an SGP for this game?
Not every NBA or NFL matchup supports Same Game Parlays.
If you don’t see the SGP icon on any markets for that event, SGPs aren’t available for that game.
6. Can I include Live or In-Play markets in an SGP?
No. Same Game Parlays are prematch only.
Live and In-Play markets can’t be added at this time.
7. Why did the odds change when I added another leg?
That’s expected.
As you add selections, the pricing model recalculates the combined probability to reflect how those picks interact. This keeps SGP odds accurate and properly correlated.
8. What sports support Same Game Parlays?
Same Game Parlays are currently available on select NBA and NFL games.
9. Can I combine an SGP with another SGP or a standard parlay?
Not right now.
You can only place one SGP per bet slip, and it can’t be combined with another SGP or a Standard Parlay.
10. What’s the maximum payout for a Same Game Parlay?
Same Game Parlays follow Bovada’s standard sportsbook payout limit:
Maximum payout: $1,000,000
