How to Play Air Combat 1942

Ace Combat 1942 starts by choosing which room you want to play in. There are three, the Bronze Room ($0.01 to 0.10), the Silver Room (0.10 to 1.00), and the Gold Room (1.00 to $10.00).

 

Once decided, you’re thrown into the game where you can move around the screen and shoot by clicking/tapping or holding down your mouse button. Every shot depletes your cash, so your goal is to destroy planes and ships to get their Multipliers.

●       Multiple Planes to Choose From: Switching your stake changes your plane, giving you extra firepower as you fire more bullets per click.

●       Three Power-Ups: The walkie talkie Symbol, the fuel can, and the nuclear bomb give you temporary upgrades. They give free shooting, increased fire speed/Multipliers, or clear the screen of enemies.

●       High Stakes Boss Battles: Special plane and ship bosses show up periodically, with massive 88x to 388x Multipliers if you can destroy them.

Air Combat 1942 dresses up its action in a hectic dogfight over sea and land. Everything on screen is fully animated, from plane propellers to the glowing lights on Power-Up Symbols. Its visuals combine with a dramatic soundtrack and other sound effects that match what’s happening on-screen, like gunshots, explosions, and coins falling from downed enemies.

Pilots have the option of firing manually, using Auto mode, or pressing a Lock button that lets you paint targets while your plane does the rest. It’s ideal for singling out Power-Ups like the Free Shooting walkie talkie, the Speed Up fuel can (with Multipliers from 10x to 50x), or the Nuclear Bomb that destroys all the planes around it, harvesting their prizes.
