Shock Tower

Dark skies make up the background of Shock Tower. There’s an ominous structure in the foreground, cutting through the night – a tower crackling with electricity. The game is straightforward: make a bet and a current will surge up the tower, forking out from the top and destroying nearby crystals if the current is powerful enough. 

Every crystal has an assigned value, which can be seen written on the face of them before rounds begin. Green ones pay less, while pink ones offer the biggest payouts. It’s not just standard betting that will destroy them either. Two features – Super Lightning and Chain Lightning – come up at random and add to your potential wins.

Instant Resolution

Every round resolves almost immediately. It’s just bet, fire, and collect. Prizes are there to see, and they either get hit by lightning and pay, or they don’t. Of course, that’s not to say that Shock Tower doesn’t have a couple of surprise features in store. Because in this game, two Bonus features can randomly activate.

Super Lightning

Randomly, the tower goes beyond its usual routine and activates Super Lightning. This places a 2x to 7x Multiplier on every crystal on the board. Depending on what kind of crystals are present and where the lightning bolt goes, this feature can lead to big swings in the game.

Chain Lightning

Once a crystal gets hit from the main tower, Chain Lightning can spring from it to destroy others. These extra connections happen at random and cost nothing additional. Sometimes the chain only reaches one more, other times it heads off across several. Each one adds to your prize total for the round.
