Thinking of depositing with Ethereum (ETH)? Here’s how to make sure your funds land safely in your account.
Heads up: We only accept ETH deposits made using the ERC-20 protocol, sending ETH through any other protocol or network—like Base, Optimism, or Arbitrum—will result in a permanent loss of funds.
Use the ERC-20 Protocol
ERC-20 is the standard protocol for Ethereum transactions. It’s the only one our system supports for ETH deposits.
Before confirming your transaction, check that ERC-20 is selected in your wallet.
Don’t Use Other Networks or Protocols
When you’re sending ETH from your wallet, you’ll usually see a network or protocol selection before you hit send.
Even if your wallet shows them as options, don’t use these:
Quick tip: If the "gas fee" looks way too cheap, double-check the network. ERC-20 isn’t usually the lowest-cost option, but it’s the one that works.
