What are Wheeled bets?

Wheeled bets allow you to wager on numerous combinations. Select more than one horse to finish in any position, and any number of other horses to finish in the remaining positions.   As an example, if you’ve decided which horse will win, but aren't sure about the second-place finisher (or vice versa), you could place a wheeled exacta which involves keying in one horse along with several others.

Example: If you wheel the #2 horse with the #4, #5 and #7 horses (2 / 4, 5, 7), your bet will be graded as a win if the first two finishers are 2-4, 2-5 or 2-7. Conversely, if you wheel the #4, #5 and #7 horses with the #2 horse (4, 5, 7 / 2), your bet will be graded as a win if the first two finishers are 4-2, 5-2 or 7-2.

Keep in mind, your risk amount for any wheeled wager will be multiplied by the number of wheeled selections you’ve made.  In the examples above, this would mean that your risk/stake amount would be multiplied by 3, for each of the wheeled selections.

How do I place a wheeled bet?

1. From the entry table, click the drop-down menu and select the type of wager you’d like to wheel (ex. Exacta, Trifecta, etc.).

2. You’ll then be required to make your selections.  You can select multiple horses to finish in each position.

NOTE: If you select multiple horses to finish in a particular position, your risk amount will be multiplied by the number of possible combinations.

3. Click ‘Add to Betslip’ at the bottom of the entry table to add your selections to the Bet Slip.

a. On Mobile, the Bet Slip can be accessed by clicking the Bet Slip icon at the bottom of the page.

b. On Desktop, the Bet Slip will be displayed to the right of your betting lines.

4. Enter your Stake, or risk amount, in the box provided.

5. Review your details and click ‘Place Bets’. A confirmation screen along with your wager reference number will follow.
