Bovada Rewards Program: How It Works
The Bovada Rewards Program is our way of saying thanks for playing with us. Every eligible wager you place across Sports, Racebook, Casino, and Poker earns you points that unlock bonuses, rewards, and status perks along the way.
Below is everything you need to know about how Bovada Rewards works, how to earn points, and how to turn those points into bonuses:
1. What Is the Bovada Rewards Program?
Bovada Rewards lets you earn points for eligible real-money play in:
- Sportsbook
- Racebook
- Casino
- Poker
Every eligible wager earns you two types of points:
- Rewards Points, which you can redeem for bonus cash
- Lifetime Points, which determine your Rewards status level
The program has been active since August 22, 2017, and only wagering activity after that date counts toward rewards.
2. How You Earn Rewards Points
Rewards Points are earned based on the type of game you play and how much you wager. Different games earn points at different rates.
Casino & Poker Earning Rates
- Slot Games: 3 points per $1 wagered
- Video Poker: 1.5 points per $1
- Table Games (including Blackjack): 1 point per $1
- Arcade Games: 1.5 points per $1
- Specialty Games: 15 points per $1
- Poker Cash Games: 15 points per $1
- Poker Tournaments: 15 points per $1
- Poker Jackpot Sit & Go: 1.5 points per $1
Note: Reels and Wheels XL earns 1 point per $1 wagered.
Sports & Racebook Earning Rates

- Sports Parlays: 15 points per $1
- Sports Teasers: 25 points per $1
- Sports Round Robins: 25 points per $1
- Racebook Straight Wagers: 40 points per $1
- Racebook Exotics & Multiples: 60 points per $1
Important:
- Sports Rewards Points are credited only after the wager is settled.
- Points are calculated using the lesser of the risk amount or the win amount.
- No Action or Push wagers do not earn Rewards Points.
3. What Doesn’t Earn Rewards Points?
You won’t earn Rewards Points for:
- Live Dealer Casino games
- Bets placed using bonus funds or locked cash
- Unsettled, pushed, or No Action sports wagers
Only cash wagers qualify for Rewards Points.
4. Rewards Points vs. Lifetime Points
Every eligible wager earns both Rewards Points and Lifetime Points at the same rate.
- Rewards Points
- Redeemable for bonus cash
- Can be used at any time
- Expire 12 months after being earned
- Lifetime Points
- Track your progress through Bovada’s 14 rewards levels
- Never expire
- Cannot be redeemed for bonuses
Once you reach a status level, you’re locked in for life and won’t lose it—even if you take a break.
5. When Do My Points Update?
- Casino wagers: Points update immediately after placing a bet
- Sports wagers: Points update after the wager is settled
- Poker: Points are credited after a tournament or cash game session is completed
